Currently, there are over forty harpists available in The Harp Foundation community of harpists. In order to increase market penetration, the Foundation needs to increase both the number of harpists and the level of expertise in servicing program areas. Short-term certification training and specialized treatment training are required for all harpists. Long-term accredited training programs are being developed. The Board of Directors is partnering with several community leaders and has developed a quality training program and marketing plan to attract and train additional harpists. Partnerships and affiliates with the national therapeutic harp training programs have been used and we are pleased to have harpist graduates from all the harp training programs offered. The International Harp Therapy Program started its partnership with Barbara Crowe at Arizona State University through the connection from The Harp Consortium and continues that affiliation with offering local classes and the Rainbow of Sound curriculum.
